Release, 6 October 2026

Blackburn compliance consultancy launches software to keep operators out of the hearing room.

Logan Logistics, a transport compliance consultancy in Blackburn, has launched Roadworthy, fleet compliance software for operator licence holders and transport managers.

Andy Logan, who runs Logan Logistics: “Most of the operators we see on the way to an inquiry did the work. What they couldn’t do was show it. The walkaround sheets were in the cab, the inspection records were in the garage’s inbox and the licence checks were in a spreadsheet. By the time the call-up letter arrives it is too late to build the file. We built Roadworthy so the record is kept as the week goes along, and it is there the day somebody asks.”

Roadworthy covers the jobs a transport office has to keep on top of every week: daily walkaround checks from a QR card in the cab on the driver’s own phone, with no app and no login; defects from report to sign-off with the evidence attached; safety inspections, brake tests, MOT and tax on one calendar with four weeks’ notice; DVLA licence checks on a 90-day clock; driver briefings signed on the phone; and tachograph analysis from the operator’s own card and unit downloads, as an add-on.

Each week the transport manager’s duties under Statutory Document No. 3 are set against the week’s evidence. Anything short of the standard needs a written answer before the week can be signed, and once signed the record is locked. A compliance pack for any period builds as one indexed PDF, with every section present whether or not there are records, so a gap shows as a gap.

Logan Logistics built the software for the operators it works with as consultants and transport managers. The first month is free, no card is needed to start, and pricing is by enquiry.
